In this remake, you’ll be up against three computer opponents. This makes things a little livelier, and the AI will force you to stay on your toes. The game also adds powerups and other obstacles that you’ll have to work with. At certain times during the game, you can even fire ammo. How’s that for redefining the game of Pong? Pong Solo offers a bunch of customization options that you can use to tweak everything to exactly the way you like it. The music and sound effects are rather nice, and I especially enjoyed the heckling option. There’s just nothing like hearing your opponents trash talk you. I must admit that the game did provide a good amount of fun gameplay, and who knows, you may become addicted to Pong... again.
NOTE Game takes about 30 secs to start even with broadband but well worth the wait
