This site is all about the famous number puzzle, and you’ll be able to get your fill here whether you’re able to devote some time to the game or just want to jump in and play for a few minutes. You can get a new puzzle delivered to you on a daily basis through RSS, and the Daily Challenge will put you up against other players. However, if you’re like me, then the QuickGame will prove to be a more fitting option. Plasma Pong

Plasma Pong was named one of the top five indie games by the influential tech
site Wired.com.

PLASMA PONG is a variation of PONG that utilizes
real-time fluid dynamics to drive the game environment.

Players have several new abilities that add fun twists to the classic game.
In the game you can inject plasma fluid into the environment, create a vacuum
from your paddle, and blast shockwaves into the playing area. All these abilities
have fluid-based kinetic effects on the ball, making Plasma Pong a
fast-paced and exciting game.

HOW TO PLAY:

  • To score, you must get the ball past the opposing player's paddle
  • The ball swims with the currents of the fluid
  • Scoring will increase the level, causing the ball to be more reactive to the fluid
  • To move the ball, you need to manipulate the fluid. Here's how:

Hold the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to shoot jet of
plasma out of the paddle

Hold the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON to suction the
plasma and ball back to the paddle

Release the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON to blast a
shockwave!

Good Luck!

Astro Battle 2

ASTRO BATTLE 2
It you think the space ships in Warning Forever or Rrootage aren't good
enough, why don't you just build you own? You can with 10 Astro Battle 2, a game
where skill in assembling a deadly fighting machine from power generators,
thrusters, cannons, and cockpits is equally as important as your skill with a
joy stick. To test your theories of weaponry, the game has constantly raging
fight on Astro Battle's home page. The fighting itself is top-down 2D, which is
generally lame, but works well for testing the strength of armaments and
munitions instead of a person's fighting skill.

Double Wires

The best part of the Spider-Man movies is when Spidey shoots webbing around so he can swing from one building to another. If your swing gene is itching, scratch it with Double Wires, a Adobe Macromedia Shockwave game you don't even have to download to play--although you may need to download the Shockwave player.

Double Wires has a sparsely drawn, vaguely humanoid figure who also can shoot sticky strands from his wrists as he swings among abstract blobs. You do the strand shooting by place your cursor on a blob and clicking. It's harder than it sounds. And more fun too. Think of it has a game that only has the good part.

"And Yet It Moves"

"And Yet It Moves" is basically a mixture between a jump and run and a puzzle game, with the extra ability to rotate the world. The player can run left, right and jump, but can also turn the world clockwise and counterclockwise by 90 degrees. When this happens physics works the following way: as soon as rotation starts all objects get frozen and after rotation objects continue to move with their velocities (direction and speed) they had before. With this ability you can move objects and yourself but also need to keep orientation and watch out for dangerous situations. Don't worry though, you' re made out of paper so you can die as often as you want to.

The overall goal is to get through this collage of ripped paper. And if you are quick - and don´t die too often - you might get into the highscore list.

ALIEN ARENA

Alien Arena

Alien Arena 2007 6.03 has been released for Windows and Linux on January 23, 2007, nearly one year after the 2006 version.  My how much can change in one year!  It's amazing how the community has grown, and helped shape the game into what it is today.  It is safe to say, that AA2k7 barely resembles it's predecessor at all.
What is different?  Well besides the upgrading of many textures, models, and effects, the engine has gotten a host of new features such as real time lighting and shadows, better dynamic lighting, shaders, new mutators, games modes, far too much to list here.  CRX 6.03 is not only faster, smoother than before, it's also much more stable and secure.  Most of all...it's the maps!  Now with 35 total maps, the changes to the arenas in which to frag your victims are breathtaking!

WHeeeeeeeeee Draw your own Ski Slope

Wheeeee! Draw your own ski slope

You'd never believe that you could create an addictive game in just two seconds with a swipe of your mouse.
But that's what you do with Line Rider, an amusing Flash cartoon in which you become the animator. Just click "Play," then "Continue." Draw a line and click the new Play button you see at the top of the window and you're in business.
The game's creator, who goes by the handle of "fsk," suggests you start by drawing a line from upper left to upper right. But try drawing a gradual, smiley curve instead and see what happens to the little toboggan rider who careens down your slope.
The game was just posted on Saturday but has already been played more than half a million times by fans around the world. It's another productivity enhancement from Deviant Art. Play the game

Click the stick figures, save your life

Oh, no! You're trapped in a dungeon and your only hope of survival is to make your way out through room after room filled with vicious assassins! That pretty much describes Dungeon Escape, an animation project that developer R. Hunter Gough has been slowly building up at Studiohunty for many, many moons. Somehow, the game just became good enough to be worth wasting a few minutes of your (boss's) valuable time.No 3D-rendered characters here, just stick figures but you quickly forget about this as you get into the surprisingly absorbing play. To escape, you must click a series of flashing circles. The circles often disappear before your mouse can get to them, but thank goodness you can click the spot a second or two later and it still works.

Yet another SUDOKU Online

Have you tried sudoku yet? I have to warn you, it’s gonna addict you as all those who read this site MUST know by now as this is the third online link I have posted.
The idea, in case you didn’t know, is to fill a nine by nine square that is, itself, divided into three by three squares. So you end up with three rows of squares, and three columns.
Now's where it gets dicey. You have to fill in each 3x3 square with the numbers 1 through 9. Each number must appear ONCE in each row across, and ONCE in each column up and down.

Some of the numbers are filled in for you already. You fill in the rest.

Trust me, it's challenging. And it's also addictive!
If you need any help just

Play Sudoku ONLINE

Sudoku Rules

The puzzle is most frequently a 9x9 grid made up of 3x3 regions. Some cells already contain numbers, known as "givens".

The goal is to fill in the empty cells, one number in each, so that each column, row, and region contains the numbers 1-9 exactly once.

Each number in the solution therefore occurs only once in each of three "directions", hence the "single numbers" implied by the puzzle's name.

Guess what just turned 34?

10/21/2005 03:19:00 PM
Posted by Paul Buchheit, Gmail Engineer

It's difficult to pin down the exact origin of email, but in October 1971, an engineer named Ray Tomlinson chose the '@' symbol for email addresses and wrote software to send the first network email.

At the time, it must not have seemed very important – nobody bothered to save that first message or even record the exact date. I've always thought that it would be fun to witness a little bit of history like that – to be there when something important happened. That's part of what drove me to join a little no-name startup named Google, and it's why I was excited when I was given a chance to create a new email product, now called Gmail.
Read on and when you get to the end you will find an invite to join the Gmail fun and Games (Well Fun Anyway)

PlayFreeGamesArcade

Would . . .you . . . like . . . to . . . play . . . a . . . game?”

The famous line from the 80’s classic film War Games said a lot about human nature. Twenty-something years later, what do we do with our computers? Play games, of course!

PlayFreeGamesArcade.

Its name says it all. There are hundreds of games here available for you to play online absolutely free! You’ll need Flash, but other than that, most any OS or browser should work. I’m an avid FireFox user, and everything I tried performed flawlessly with it.

The site is well organized according to game genres. For instance, if you like flying games of various flavors, these are grouped. They range from fighter planes to bone-dropping birds to landing balloons safely.

Perhaps adventure games are more your flavor? Then try any of the dozens of Batman games, including Batman Crime Wave, Batman in Cobblebot Caper, or Batman’s Gotham Dark Night. There are more heroes here than the Caped Crusader, though. For instance, try getting Space Dude past the monsters and get him back to his home planet.

I know, I know, you love arcade games. Never fear! You have your choice of 135 arcade games like Atomic Pong, Cannon Commander, Homer’s Beer Run, Monkey Cliff Diving, etc. etc.

Personally, I prefer the puzzle games. In fact, I’m a mah-jongg addict! I could spend hours on Flash Tile alone. It’s way cool! As you defeat layouts, it moves you on to tougher and tougher ones.

Mario Forever

This clone of Nintendo's flagship title Super Mario Brothers faithfully reconstructs the classic gameplay that made this such a massive hit in the 1980s.

You play Mario, the mustachioed plumber and unlikely hero, whose mission is to save the life of his long lost love.

The rules are simple: progress through the increasingly difficult and bizarre levels, collecting as many coins as you can while killing any turtles or malicious mushrooms that get in your way.

This kind of 2D platform gaming is never going to be ground-breaking, but the classic gameplay still prevails.

With gaming now placing a heavier emphasis on beautifully rendered landscapes and jaw-dropping graphics, Mario Forever at least reminds us that classic gameplay was once a necessity rather than an afterthought.

Webracer

.1. In Webracer you drive the red car and your challenge is to set the fastest time while beating the opposing race cars. A race consists of two tracks with 3 laps each. You have to finish as number one on the first track to qualify for the second track
2. You control the car with your keyboard. Up arrow to accelerate, Down arrow to break. Left arrow for left turn and Right arrow for right turn. With the Space Bar you can activate the Turbo Boost.
3. Avoid touching the other cars as this causes you to lose valuable speed. On each track there are 3 Turbo Boost placed on the track. Drive over them to collect them and use them when you need to add some extra speed to your car to overtake an opponent or catch up in a hurry

Scorched 3D

Scorched 3D is a game based loosely (or actually quite heavily now) on the classic DOS game Scorched Earth "The Mother Of All Games". Scorched 3D adds amongst other new features a 3D island environment and LAN and internet play. Scorched 3D is totally free and is available for both Microsoft Windows and Unix (Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, Solaris etc.) operating systems.
You can pick up the game and begin playing very quickly. Then, when/if you are interested, you can poke in the dimmer recesses of the game and get into the strategy (or just ignore it altogether!).

At its lowest level, Scorched 3D is just an artillery game with two+ tanks taking turns to destroy opponents in an arena. Choose the angle, direction and power of each shot, launch your weapon, and try to blow up other tanks. That's basically it.

But Scorched 3D can be a lot more complex than that, if you want it to be. You can earn money from successful battles and use it to invest in additional weapons and accessories. You can play with up to twenty four other players at a time, mixing computer players with humans. There's a variety of changing environmental conditions and terrains to be dealt with. After the end of each round (which ends when everybody dies or there's only one person left), you get to buy stuff using the prize money you won from previous matches.
" The venerable artillery-style slug-match gets a 3D update with Scorched3D, a very addictive and nicely rendered turn-based game. 5 Stars. "
(Review of Scorched 3D at CNET Download.com)

Moraff's UltraBlast

Remember Breakout, where you had your paddle at the bottom of the screen, and the goal was to hit the bouncing ball to knock out all of the bricks? This game starts off with that general idea, then adds more challenging aspects, from fast moving balls to blocks with teeth that eat your paddle. You can change the backgrounds and sounds, as well. This game is free, but upon leaving the program you'll see a promo screen for the developer's game CD-ROM.

PLEASE NOTE F1 Gets you to the help menu and F9 gets you out of the game via another demo game. Highly recommended

Also if you like this game then just go to the web site of the developers to find plenty more downloadable games
